Here at Hethersett, we present a 3-week running menu. After a few adjustments and suggestions from the pupils, the canteen team have created dishes to suit all tastes.
The team have a keen eye for presentation here at Hethersett, which is something they feel is important. To be able to catch the eye of the students and create an exciting environment for them.
Being a part of Caterlink, the team get to show their flair and passion even more so when they do our theme days throughout the months. This month we have had theme days such as VE Day, A Taste of Greece, Spain and Pride Month. We take pride in our food and get to express just how much we love it.
We also focus on taste and getting our students to try new things, even the simplest of things, like our flavoured hydration station water. This is a good talking point where the students can try something new and guess the flavours of the day. They then give the team suggestions on what to try next. The team love to work with the students by creating new menu ideas for all to enjoy. The team work hard and enjoy interacting and educating our students with the food on offer.
